Latex impregnated paper is just what the name implies, a sheet of paper which has a certain percentage of latex distributed uniformly throughout the paper. There are two methods to accomplish this process. The first is by the beater process where the latex is added to the pulp during the manufacturing of the paper and the second is by coating or saturating the paper in latex and drying it in an air chamber or by contact drying.
Latex impregnated papers can be used for a variety of applications because of strength and durability. The papers have high tensile, tearing and bursting strength, non-fraying characteristics, flexibility, a great wet strength and resistance to oil, grease and penetrating coatings. It is an excellent product to use as stuffing paper and to wrap parts.
